Case Study
Volunteer applications, donations, and student programs now sit on one charity site, instead of a purpose page with the real work happening in inboxes.
Happy Brain Education already had a clear public purpose: level the field for students from disadvantaged and refugee backgrounds across Victoria. What it did not have was a single place to hold programs and the ways people actually help.
Tutoring, school workshops, scholarships, and mentoring were the work. Volunteering and donations had to sit next to that work. Those paths used to live as separate conversations, while the site explained the mission.
Supporter or student
Arrives to read the purpose, then chooses a program or a way to help.
Charity website
Purpose, programs, and involvement live here. Notices leave from this centre.
Programs
Tutoring, workshops, scholarships, and mentoring stay on the site.
Volunteer
A stepped application, not a mailbox, for mentors and board roles.
Donate
Giving sits next to the work it funds.
Team workspace
Staff review applications and keep the public pages current. Visitors never see this.
Webifex rebuilt the charity site as the place a supporter or a family can read the purpose, choose a program, volunteer, or give. Confirmations and follow-up leave from that centre. The team reviews applications from a signed-in workspace attached to it.
The public numbers stay on the record the organisation already publishes: more than 7,000 students supported, and more than 10,000 hours volunteered.
A visitor can read the youth-led story, then open tutoring, workshops, scholarships, or mentoring without leaving the site. Someone who wants to help completes a volunteer application on that site, including mentor and board paths, instead of sending a loose message. Giving sits next to the programs it funds.
The charity no longer splits its public face from the work of getting involved. Programs, volunteer interest, and donations share one site, and the team has one place to run that work.
